Groups
The Sun is not affiliated with any group, nor do we provide guidance or oversight. This service exists for the convenience of Sun readers who'd like to meet with others in their communities to discuss the magazine. All contact with group leaders should be Sun-related. No soliciting. Thanks for your cooperation.

If you live in proximity to Laguna Niguel, California, I would like to start a Sun magazine discussion / presentation group. “Presentation” would mean having the option of making a brief presentation about something in a particular month’s Sun magazine that was meaningful to you, then leading a discussion about it. Or, we could just organically enter into a discussion about any particular article in an unstructured manner, or do both! What’s important is that we get to share our sundry views, thoughts, and personalities with congenial people. The intention isn’t to be a singles “possibilities” group, but rather to meet with intellectually motivated, cordial persons.Jessica Lorraine
I'm interested in establishing a Sun discussion group. This could involve a combination of scenarios, such as: communicating via e-mail, starting an online readers/writers group, creating a blog about Sun articles, and possibly meeting monthly with other readers in Mendocino County, California. I’m open to suggestions and seek other Sun readers to volunteer for brainstorming! I live in the Willits-Brooktrails area.

Bay Area Sun reading/writing group meets every third Thursday of the month from 7:30–9:30 p.m., each time at a different member’s home in San Francisco. We spend the first half of the meeting discussing that month’s issue of The Sun, and the second hour writing to a prompt and sharing our words (sharing is optional!).
