Groups
The Sun is not affiliated with any group, nor do we provide guidance or oversight. This service exists for the convenience of Sun readers who'd like to meet with others in their communities to discuss the magazine. All contact with group leaders should be Sun-related. No soliciting. Thanks for your cooperation.

I would like to form a writing group to discuss articles in The Sun, and to offer support and comments on each other’s nonfiction writing.

Our fledgling Sun readers’ group is meeting sporadically but enthusiastically at The Congregational Church of Birmingham UCC on the corner of Woodward and Cranbrook Roads in Bloomfield Hills. For more information, call the church office at (248) 646-4511 or contact Susan.

I would love to start a Sun group in the Muskegon area, which includes Muskegon County, North Ottawa County, and the cities of Ferrysburg, Fruitport, Grand Haven, Hesperia, Holton, Montague, Muskegon Heights, North Muskegon, Norton Shores, Ravenna, Roosevelt Park, Spring Lake, Twin Lake, and Whitehall. We have a beautifully landscaped meeting place in the 480-square-foot carpeted office of the Attitudinal Research Center. We can meet according to the needs and wishes of the group.

Several Sun readers gather on the first and third Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at a delightful lakeside home. We are committed to writing and sharing from the heart, with authenticity. Criticism is couched in caring. We do exercises together and bring recent works. Join us for an evening or a year or two!Nina Ignaczak
