Groups
The Sun is not affiliated with any group, nor do we provide guidance or oversight. This service exists for the convenience of Sun readers who'd like to meet with others in their communities to discuss the magazine. All contact with group leaders should be Sun-related. No soliciting. Thanks for your cooperation.

This group is for readers who want to meet in the suburbs of Dallas without having to go into the city. We welcome anyone who reads The Sun each month and is willing to participate in discussion, meet-ups, and other activities, such as sharing our own writing. We’ll strive to keep the group environment open and nurturing so that each member’s values and opinions are respected. I suggest that we meet at Dunn Bros Coffee, 3725 Belt Line Rd., Addison, TX 75001. Please contact me for details.

Forming a new Sun group to gather and discuss The Sun and related interests, including sharing our own writing. Ideally the group will contain a broad spectrum of society with individually diverse viewpoints. Our common bond will be a mutual respect for each other and appreciation of our differences.

The EMWW is a friendly but hard-working and dedicated group of local writers. We gather at 6 p.m. on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesday of each month at St. Anne’s Church located at 6055 Azle Ave., (directly across from Kohl's). We read, critique, brainstorm, and help each other in the publishing process. There are no dues but we ask for a small donation to the church for the use of their library. We have all genres from fantasy, horror, thriller, non-fiction, poetry, etc.. Please join us and see if we’re a fit for you.

Are you a Sun reader in Houston? Give in to the temptation and join at least two others for coffee. Our meetings are very casual for now, but we’re willing to explore discussion, writing, photography, service, meeting regularly — wherever the interest leads.
