Paul Krassner
Paul Krassner’s publication the Realist was the underground journal of the counterculture during the sixties and seventies. In 1967 Krassner cofounded the Yippies, a countercultural political party. Krassner has released six comedy albums and authored numerous books. His most recent collection, Who’s to Say What’s Obscene? Politics, Culture, and Comedy in America Today, will be published in July 2009. Krassner is a regular columnist for the Huffington Post website and has been actively involved in movements to end the Iraq War and to legalize marijuana.
