Owen Cason is the pseudonym of a writer who dreams of moving to Maine and never paying for parking again. He still has his Complete Calvin and Hobbes hardcover box set from childhood and plans to give it to his niece and nephew in a few years.

Finn Cohen is the associate editor at The Sun. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Brian Gilmore was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and is the author of four books, including his latest poetry collection, Come See about Me, Marvin, which was named a Michigan Notable Book. He is obsessed with basketball, screenwriting, and Turkish cooking.

Jim Harrison wrote more than forty books of poetry, nonfiction, and fiction, including the novella series Legends of the Fall. He lived in rural Michigan, Montana, and Arizona. He died in 2016.

Jennifer Bowen Hicks’s writing has appeared in Orion and Kenyon Review. She lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with her two sons and a dog.

Keith Lasseigne left the bayou thirty-three years ago for more adventure. Currently based in eastern Washington State, he dreams of touring North America and living the van life.

Lyn Lifshin’s many collections of poetry include Katrina, Lost Horses, and Barbaro: Beyond Brokenness. She split her time between New York and Virginia and was the subject of the documentary film Lyn Lifshin: Not Made of Glass. She died in 2019.

Sparrow lives in Phoenicia, New York, where he makes small paper sculptures that most people would call “garbage pasted onto garbage.” He has two forthcoming books: a novella, The Princeton Diary, and a collection of essays, Small Happiness & Other Epiphanies. Laurie Minor is the author of four books of photography, including Jump and Moments with Max. She lives in Pelham, Ontario, Canada, and uses her camera so often the icons on the buttons are worn off.

Joel Rhymer is a photographer and community activist who lives in Freedom, New Hampshire. He practices “unintentional photography” by watching for poignant moments rather than chasing them.
