J. Krishnamurti was an Indian-born philosopher who traveled the world giving public talks on the workings of the human mind. He died in 1986 at the age of ninety.

Mark Leviton is the antihero of his son Michael’s humorous new memoir, To Be Honest. Leviton is preparing his rebuttal in an isolated cabin outside Nevada City, California.

James Davis May was a three-time all-star player for the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League in high school. He’s also the author of the poetry collection Unquiet Things. He lives in Macon, Georgia.

Rachael Petersen is a writer and environmental consultant who lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her poetry and nonfiction have appeared in The Rumpus, Ruminate, and Oberon.

David Romtvedt’s most recent book of poems, No Way: An American Tao Te Ching, was published in spring 2021. During the pandemic he realized a longtime dream by building a sauna in his backyard. He lives in Buffalo, Wyoming.

Elaine Tosetti is the pseudonym of a writer and high-school English teacher. Her CrossFit nemesis calls her “The Intrepid Warrior Legend,” which far exceeds her actual abilities.

Karen Whalley lives in Port Angeles, Washington. She is the author of the poetry collections My Own Name Seems Strange to Me and The Rented Violin. Once travel restrictions are lifted, she hopes to travel to Ireland to explore her ancestry.

Gina Easley lives in Eugene, Oregon. She recently discovered the meditative practice of reading and writing haiku.

Dawn Surratt worked with dying patients in a hospice setting for twenty-two years. Now she is a full-time artist and teacher who lives in rural North Carolina.
