Zoë Bossiere spent much of their childhood living as a boy in a Tucson, Arizona, trailer park. As they are gender-fluid, their gender identity, presentation, and pronouns continue to evolve. Their debut memoir, Cactus Country, is available now from Abrams Press.

Andrew Gleason is the reader services specialist at The Sun and a comedian who lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He wants to be a writer, a visual artist, and feared by the powers that be.

Jodie Hollander is the author of two poetry collections, including Nocturne, which was published in 2023. She lives in Arizona, where she enjoys hiking with her dog, Chunk.

Stacy Boe Miller is the poet laureate of Moscow, Idaho, and is working on a memoir about her path from evangelical missionary to woman finding meaning in the unknown.

John Tait is originally from Canada and recently became an American citizen. He writes short stories and teaches fiction writing at the University of North Texas.

Chrys Tobey served celebrities in Los Angeles restaurants for a decade. Now she teaches writing classes in Portland, Oregon, where she lives with her rock-star girlfriend and her dog.

Leath Tonino is the author of two essay collections, most recently The West Will Swallow You. He lives at nine thousand feet in the Colorado Rockies but spends much of his time even higher, hiking and camping in the alpine zone.

Alessandra Ashley’s first career was as a psychologist. A dedicated creative at heart, she now writes fiction, drama, and children’s literature and photographs things of beauty and wonder. She lives in Ohio.

Lex Beach is a lactation consultant who has built a career out of helping people make milk and feed their babies. She is equally passionate about making art and taking pictures. Her forthcoming photography book, This Is a Love Story, chronicles the life she shares with her wife and their seven children in western Massachusetts.

Don Fenceton lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He has written songs for Michael Jackson and other Motown artists, and his children’s album, The Little Mouse That Roared, is soon to be released by BMG. As a major foodie, he likes to think he keeps many restaurants in business.

Michael Galinsky has been publishing images in The Sun for more than thirty-five years, and he would love to make it thirty-five more. He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Drayden Hebb is a retired clinical social worker and small-sailboat builder (just one) from Baltimore, Maryland. She has been making photographs for more than forty years.

Beth McLeod is a former journalist who lives outside Boone, North Carolina, where she juggles running two vacation rentals, traveling, and life as a granny.

Anita Sagastegui gets paid to have fun teaching art to schoolchildren. She lives in California.
