John Benson, a semiretired massage therapist living in San Francisco, says he began composing stories at age fifteen, in his head, while on watch as a merchant seaman during World War II. At age sixty-four he began writing them down.

Gary Erwin’s stories have appeared in Amaranthus and the Santa Fe Literary Review. He lives with his wife and cat in Portage, Michigan.

Molly Fisk, who lives in Stinson Beach, California, has work forthcoming in Poetry East and Zyzzyva. Her Salt Water Poems (Jungle Garden Press) is scheduled for release this month.

Dan Gerber is the author of A Voice from the River, a novel, and A Last Bridge Home, a book of poetry. He divides his time between Leland, Michigan, and Key West, Florida.
