Here at The Sun, when we review incoming photo submissions, we’re usually looking for images that can accompany a piece of writing in a way that we hope complements and enhances the reader’s experience. Sometimes, though, we’ll find a photograph so rich with narrative that it tells a story all on its own. A Thousand Words is meant to be a place for just this kind of image.
