Matthew Moore is a photographer who lives in Fairfax, Virginia, and works in a warehouse that sells waterproofing materials. The image on this month’s cover is his first published photograph. He took it at Manassas National Battlefield Park in Virginia, after sitting outside in the wind for several hours.
