In July we launched a magazine “give and take” program in which we help readers get their used copies of The Sun into the hands of those who want them. The response has been overwhelming, with readers from all over the country sending in their magazines — sometimes an envelope with a handful of copies from the last year, and other times boxes holding collections that span decades. In turn we’ve sent those magazines to classrooms, community centers, incarcerated individuals, writing groups, and elsewhere.
If your organization, classroom, community center, or writing group would benefit from receiving a reader’s collection of back issues, please e-mail Molly House at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a stack of used copies of The Sun that are still in good condition and need a new home, click here to get started.
