Matt Barrett lives with his family among the apple trees of central Pennsylvania. He is completing a series of interconnected stories about travelers, thieves, and some very unusual neighbors.

Joseph Bathanti grew up in a working-class neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He teaches at Appalachian State University and was inducted into the North Carolina Literary Hall of Fame in 2024.

Mark Brazaitis is the author of nine books, including the novel American Seasons. He recently adopted a cat, directed a play, and won a Pushcart Prize. He lives in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Madelyn Chen lives in Los Angeles with her twin corgi-terrier mixes. When she’s not writing briefs and motions as a litigator, she’s scribbling poetry in the margins of legal pads. Her poems have been published in Ploughshares, Rattle, The Threepenny Review, and more.

David J. Bookbinder lives in Boston, Massachusetts. Since retiring from a career in psychotherapy, he’s been time traveling—cataloging photographs and stories from the 1970s for his book Street People: Invisible New York Made Visible.

Alanna Dangerfield is currently hoarding undeveloped film rolls and shouting about the economy. Her most recent project, Sunbeams and Shadows, chronicles her coming-of-age in Chicago through poetry and photography.

Laurie Minor lives in southern Ontario, Canada. She loves vintage cameras and collecting nineteenth-century images, as well as her daily rounds of computer Scrabble.

Jake Paige is an Arizona-born street photographer who scours sidewalks and city avenues for intimate, fleeting moments. His work has appeared at the Indianapolis Museum of Art and at New York Fashion Week, but his most prized collection is displayed on his mom’s refrigerator.

Rebecca Rothey studied analog photography at the University of Notre Dame. Although she now works digitally, her images remain inspired by traditional French and American street photography. She lives in Laurel, Maryland.
